Responsibilities:
– Prepare and edit legal documents (e.g., complaints, discovery, HIPAA authorizations, service agreements).
– Upload, label, and organize case files in Filevine or similar systems.
– Track and enter court hearing dates from online portals (e.g., LA, Riverside, Orange County courts).
– Follow up with medical providers for records and billing; file documents accurately and on time.
– Manage attorneys’ calendars: track deadlines, set reminders, and schedule hearings or client calls.
– Communicate with treatment providers, court staff, and clients professionally.
– Send templated emails and documents for signatures and case updates.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in legal, case management, or administrative support.
– Fluent in English (advanced) — both written and spoken.
– Spanish (intermediate to advanced) strongly preferred.
– Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
– Strong communication and follow-through skills under deadlines.
– Proficient with Google Workspace, Excel, and online court portals.
– Experience with case management systems (Filevine, Clio, or similar) is a plus.
– Ability to work PST, Monday–Friday (with 1-hour unpaid lunch).
